Introducing the Artists

About the Exhibition

  • Shared Currents: Narratives Across the African Diaspora is a group exhibition for Black History Month that focuses on universal emotions and shared human experiences. By highlighting contemporary stories of identity, resilience, and hope, it aims to spark meaningful conversations that extend beyond the month’s celebration. This is not about performative recognition but about fostering understanding, empathy, and connection through the lens of artists across the African diaspora’s. The exhibition invites all patrons to engage deeply with the narratives that unite us, identity, resilience, grief, fear, hope, and joy, creating space for dialogue that resonates year-round.
